There are two databases of journals’ TOC with RSS available which would well be worth the veterinary librarians’ interest, subjects not being limited to the veterinary field only:
- Tictocs, a database with 7,771 journals (June 25th, 2008), searchable by journal title ( or segment of it, even truncated *) or by publisher, maintained by a British consortium
- Journals Feed Navigator which is just one application of the broader Feed Navigator, maintained by the Finnish National Library of Health Sciences – Terkko. It has various functionalities.
